The 46-year-old man who apologized for the brutal beating of his partner a week ago in Argyroupoli is on his way to prison.
The 46-year-old, a martial arts teacher, was tried with the consent of an investigator and a prosecutor, temporarily detained after his apology for the charge of attempted manslaughter against the 40-year-old woman who is being treated in the Evangelical Intensive Care Unit.
According to information, before the court clerk, the accused referred to psychological problems that prevented him from realizing what he was doing when he started beating his partner relentlessly.
He is even said to have requested a psychiatric examination in order to demonstrate, as he allegedly claimed, his problems.
The woman, last Friday morning, received dozens of beatings from her partner who, according to the case file, left her unconscious and covered in blood and left the house after notifying a relative about the incident. The perpetrator of the relentless beating appeared three days later at the Authorities and while the Police were already looking for him.
The woman has severe craniocerebral injuries and is still in an extremely critical condition in the ICU.
