The 42-year-old man accused of beating his wife in Patras is free

He was released late Thursday afternoon 42 years old from Patras accused of brutally beating his wife in the early hours of Thursday.

The detainee was taken before the truck where he asked for and received a deadline to be tried on Friday.

According to information from tempo24.news, the 42-year-old failed to find a lawyer, as a result of which he asked the court to appoint him a lawyer.

“Help will kill me”

At the same time, the news of the savage beating of a 29-year-old woman in the area of ​​Agyia has caused shock in Patras.

According to new information brought to light by tempo24.news, the 29-year-old is said to have been in a desperate situation and did not know how to save herself from the rage of her partner.

In her despair, she managed, without being noticed by him, to send a text message (sms) from her mobile phone to the European emergency number, 112.

In the message she allegedly wrote the word “help” and her home address.

Her signal first reached the Athens Immediate Action Center, which quickly informed the Patras Police about the fact that a person was calling for help, giving the information.

The Patras Police immediately organized the operation, informing the Fire Brigade and calling locksmiths to reach the spot.

When they arrived at the couple’s house and a few minutes later, the 42-year-old was the one who opened the door and the authorities proceeded to arrest him, while they located the woman who was obviously abused.

The fact that, according to the allegations, the beating happened in front of the couple’s just 17 months old baby is terrifying.

The same information states that the unfortunate 29-year-old had fallen victim to violent behavior by her partner in the past.
