Salad ingredients:

  • 4 cups salad greens (romaine or plain lettuce recommended)

  • ¼ cup roasted cashews
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha or hot sauce
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar
  • 1 clove of garlic, freshly grated or minced
  • 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
  • ½ cup sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil

  1. Pour all the ingredients into the blender except the sunflower oil and the roasted sesame oil until smooth. While the blender is running, slowly add the sunflower oil and sesame oil and mix until everything is combined.
  2. This particular salad is easy, it may seem a little time-consuming to chop some ingredients and cook, but the taste is worth the effort.

TIP: Due to the lack of protein there is a chance that you won’t feel full, of course you can add some chicken or salmon or tuna. You will definitely like the colors and textures and a good solution is to add a glass of Sauvignon Blanc white wine just like Cameron Diaz suggests.
