The forest firefighting forces on the island of Rhodes continue to fight the wildfires for another dayin an attempt to extinguish the fiery nightmare that has been burning the island for four days.

Specifically, efforts are being made by the four aircraft and two helicopters who are working on the fire, to deal with the at least four flare-ups that have occurred in the area of Prophet Elias, but also on the main front of the fire from Apollo to Laerma, which continues to burn uncontrollably.

These efforts they are also reinforced by the ground forces, forest firefighters, volunteers, army, police etc., while since yesterday operators of heavy-duty vehicles and earthmoving machines have been opening fire zones throughout the area where it is likely that the fire could be directed.

In any case, all participants in extinguishing the fire make superhuman efforts to achieve the best possible result, given the adverse conditions and time (we are on the fourth day) that the fire is burning.
