From July 24 to 28 2.24 billion euros will be paid to 4,092,462 beneficiaries, as part of the planned payments of the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

In particular, the proceeds from e-EFKA the following payments will be made, as part of the Agency’s regular payments:

  • On Wednesday, July 26, 538.19 million euros will be paid for 908,511 main and auxiliary pensions for August, to pensioners from the former entities OAEE, OGA, NAT, ETAT, ETAA, ETAP-MME and PPC.
  • On Thursday, July 27, 820.49 million euros will be paid for 1,572,974 main and auxiliary pensions for August, to pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
  • On Friday, July 28, 820.77 million euros will be paid for 1,575,547 main and auxiliary pensions for August, to pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.

Next week, 20.1 million euros will be paid to 850 beneficiaries following the issuance of lump sum decisions.

In the context of e-EFKA emergency payments, on July 26 additional amounts of the extraordinary financial aid amounting to 25,000 euros will be paid to 80 pensioners, based on article 80 of Law 5036/2023.

Also, within the week, retroactive pension amounts will be paid in lump sum from 1/1/2019. For the exact amount and the number of beneficiaries, there will be a newer announcement from e-EFKA.

The following payments will be made by DYPA:

  • Thirteen million euros to 15,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
  • Twenty one million euros to 18,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
  • Seven hundred thousand euros to 1,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
  • Six million euros to 500 beneficiaries for Public Benefit Programs.
