The supervision of the investigations into the case of the murder of the 29-year-old AEK fan is already under the supervision of the head of the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office Maria Gane, which, due to the seriousness of the case, requested to be informed about each stage of the investigation.

Ms. Gane will have immediate information and cooperation with the First Instance prosecutors who have taken charge of the investigations, so that all the necessary pre-investigative actions for the investigating every aspect of the case, which cost the life of 29-year-old Michalis Katsouris, a victim of brutal violence by organized and armed fans.

The head of the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office has already been informed of the actions being taken to identify the natural perpetrator of the murderous attack with a knife, which the 29-year-old received. Mrs. Gane is said to have already given an order that no one responsible for what happened in New Philadelphia should be left out of control and that the arrests continue intensively, so that the perpetrators of the fan violence are brought before the authorities and they are held criminally responsible depending on their degree of participation in what happened outside the AEK stadium.

Ms. Gane has requested that interpreters be sought who will be required to be present at the interrogation stages for the foreign defendants.
