Lizeta Nikolaou (real name Elisavet Katikaridou) was born in 1951 in Thessaloniki (Kalamaria) to Pontius, refugee parents. She has been involved in singing since her school days. After a proposal was made to her, she passed an audition to do second voices in “Deilina”, where in the 1970s the cream of the Greek pentagram appeared (Dionysiou, Parios, Dalaras, Alexiou, etc.). She remained in “Deilina” for many seasons where she now appeared as the permanent partner of Stratos Dionysios.
In the discography first introduced in 1973 in compositions by Takis Soukas and lyrics by Iraklis Papasideris. In 1985, the disc titled “Pontiac songs with Lizeta Nikolaou” was released, born from the ERT television series “The Great Debt”, scripted by Dimitris Iatropoulou, which was dedicated to the history of Pontus.
