The ports are full, the streets of the capital are empty – Unique images of quiet in the city
The traffic in the ports of Attica peaks today and tomorrow in view of the 15th of August holiday.
The destinations for the Cyclades mainly show increased occupancy.
The port authority is taking all the necessary measures to facilitate the passengers, while those who are going to travel today, it is advisable to be a little earlier at the ship’s departure dock, due to increased traffic.
From the port of Piraeus, 35 ships will depart for Argosaronicos, 23 ships will depart for a number of other island destinations, while 13 ships will depart from the port of Rafina and 9 from Lavrio.
Yesterday, Sunday 13/08, traffic was increased from the port of Piraeus, as 23 ships departed while 32,441 passengers left for an Aegean island.
For the Argosaronic islands, 45 ships departed with 8,631 passengers, from the port of Rafina 15 ships departed with 8,024 passengers and from the port of Lavrio 7 with 2,415 passengers.

Athens empties, as every year, on August 15. The rare images of the empty streets of the center will surely be missed with the arrival of autumn and the return of the licensed, even if today they seem lonely and too quiet:
