“Lobster” will be remembered by New Philadelphia, a few hours before the rematch between AEK and Dinamo Zagreb, which was postponed after the murder of 29-year-old Michalis by the murderous attack of Croatian hooligans.

The security measures are expected to be draconian, with thousands of police officers who will patrol both the perimeter of the stadium and the wider area of New Philadelphia.

According to reports, there will also be plainclothes police who will be checking public transport on both the electric railway and buses for fans approaching the stadium.

As for the fans, who have purchased a ticket, it is advisable to arrive a few hours earlier, as the police will carry out checks. Some barriers have already been set up where the checks will be done where the police and a special security team will check all the fans to see if they have a ticket and only those who have the ticket with them to watch the match will approach the stadium.

There will also be aerial surveillance with helicopters and drones which will continuously “scan” every inch of the wider area of New Philadelphia.
