A fire broke out at noon on Monday in a forest area in Dialect of the Municipality of Nestos in Kavala. According to the fire department, the fire front is close to houses.
112 sent messages for the removal of residents from Dialecto and the Damaskinia, Eklekto, Avramylia areas to the Old National Highway.
They were injured during the extinguishing efforts two firefighters and taken to hospital, while a fire truck was damaged. According to reports the firefighters have burns, one on the hands and one on the face.
At the point they attempt 12 firefighters with six vehicles and an aircraft while the strong winds that blow in the area, make it difficult to put out the fire.
