The historic Monastery of Saint Loukas in flames

Evia is in flames again
Two different fire outbreaks occurred this afternoon at a distance of about 200 meters from each other, in the Dokos area, northeast of the city of Chalkida.

At the same time, as he pointed out, according to the data available so far, 140 people have been arrested for arson in agro-forestry areas as part of the spontaneous procedure.
Specifically 117 for negligence and 23 for intent. Almost all of the above incidents are related to hot or agricultural work.
Additionally, with the regular procedure, 73 people are referred, of which 62 were negligent and 11 were intentional.
At very high risk tomorrow too
In addition, Mr. Artophios pointed out that the risk of fire tomorrow is predicted to be very high in Boeotia, Evia and Attica, according to the Fire Risk Prediction Map.
