Latest satellite data made available yesterday by the Copernicus Rapid Mapping Service of the European Commission highlight the forest fire in Evro as the biggest forest fire of the last many years on European soil. According to the analysis of the satellite data, the total area burned by the forest fire Evroswhich resulted from the confluence of fires in Alexandroupoli and Nannysurpasses them 720,000 acres (until 23.08.2023, 12:19 local time).
