Tragic death, while at work, found on Friday morning, in Oinophyta, Attica, by a 50-year-old man from Volio. He is a professional in the field of prefabricated constructions, who fell from a height of 18 meters, during work on a project undertaken by his company.

According to information, after his fall, there was immediate mobilization, an ambulance was called, but unfortunately, the unfortunate man succumbed to his injuries.

The unfortunate man was killed by falling from a height of 18 meters, while supervising technical work on a building, in Wine plants. The deceased owned, together with his brother, a well-known prefabricated construction company, on Athens Avenue, which is active in prefabricated properties and metal constructions, according to the volosday.gr report.

According to reports, the 50-year-old was on the roof and was inspecting the interventions that have been made, when unknown under what circumstances, he allegedly slipped and fell into the void from a height of 18 meters.

The workers of the workshop that was working on the construction “froze”, as described by the local media. They immediately called for help. An ambulance rushed to the scene, but unfortunately it was too late. The unfortunate professional had breathed his last. The fall from such a great height proved fatal for his life, as his people in Volos were informed.

The information states that an autopsy was ordered, in order to establish the exact causes of his death. A preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the tragic incident is being conducted by the Schimatari Police Department.
