An investigation by the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Rhodes, which was assigned to the AT of Archangelos, is in full progress to establish the possible commission of the crimes of serial rape, domestic abuse of sexual dignity and domestic threats against a 49-year-old local resident of Kolymbia, who has been reported since 2021.

A 33-year-old citizen reported to the AT Archangelou that her husband’s father has been harassing her since the beginning of their marriage and has forced her to perform sexual acts with him using violence and taking advantage of her fear in his threats that if she resists he will report her to Welfare and she will lose her children.

She claimed that when she dared to denounce his actions against him, he, with the help of others, made false accusations against her as a result of which she was deprived of her minor children.

The girl described acts of rape against her and claimed that the first one took place in the year 2017!

However, her 30-year-old husband also gave a statement against his father!

He stressed that he could not believe that his own father was unfaithful to his wife and initially thought it was a misunderstanding.

In an aversion to his father’s speech in April 2022, as he said, he realized that he was addressing her with a sexual implication and then there was an argument with his relatives.

When they warned them that they would take legal action, they filed a complaint against them and managed to get their children away from them!

A friend of his, as the son claimed, even informed him that his father had posted on social media live videos from his mobile phone in which he is seen touching his wife’s chest and harassing her!!

The 33-year-old had initially denounced her father-in-law in May 2022, describing then that in September 2013 he stroked her leg and since then besieged her with sexual insinuations.

In another of her statements, she had claimed that he beat her on the chest and behind while simultaneously filming the act with his cell phone!!

In May 2022, in another of her complaints, she had said that she found him in a room with his pants and underwear down and that he forced her into a sexual act.

She has also presented the police with a hard drive which, according to her claims, contains video footage of her father-in-law harassing her.

In August 2022, the father-in-law was first summoned to testify before the court and categorically denied what had been reported against him up to that point, stressing that he repeats the same allegations he had developed earlier and that he had withdrawn her lawsuit and said that he had directed her to claim what her husband and son claimed.
