Since the bad weather, several areas of the prefecture of Magnesia and the Sporades are facing power supply problems due to extensive damage to the network.

In a statement issued by DEDDIE to inform the citizens, it draws everyone’s attention to the dangers posed by pipelines and pillars located on the ground.

On the occasion of the bad weather Daniel that affects several areas of our country, DEDDIE informs the consumer public that at this time electricity problems continue mainly in Volos, Pelion and other areas of the prefecture of Magnesia as well as in the Sporades.

The severe weather and unprecedented rainfall have caused extensive damage to the power grid in these areas. All the technical staff of DEDDIE as well as the cooperating companies are on alert from the first moment, facing however great difficulties in repairing the damages due to the adverse conditions prevailing in the affected areas.

DEDDIE warns all citizens not to approach under any circumstances pipelines, pillars or other elements of the Network which are either on the ground or show visible damage, but to immediately report the damage to 800 400 4000 or the Police Department of their area.
