An appeal to the citizens to avoid unnecessary movements in the areas where dangerous weather phenomena occur, the representative of the fire department, Yiannis Artopioos, addressed through SKAI.

He emphasized that at this time a major rescue operation is underway for 19 passengers on a bus in Agioi Theodorou, Karditsa.

Mr. Artofioos stated that Karditsa and Trikala have been under a constant storm for the last few hours.

Referring to Attica, he made it known that so far 550 calls have been made for water pumping and warned that the phenomenon is not over yet.
