In a Multipurpose Center with enhanced all its services and the medical staff, as of today, the Petralona municipal clinic of the Municipality of Athens is being transformed, which is being moved and is now operating in a modern and upgraded space on the 108 Piraeus Street.
This is the 4th Multi-Purpose Center in a row that is part of the network of the six municipal clinics of the Municipality of Athens and aims to fully cover the primary care needs of the residents of the 3rd municipal community of Athens.
Daily, from 8 am to 8 pm, demotes of all ages will have the opportunity to benefit free the offered health and counseling services, while they can also make use of social services.

We must create the conditions that will make citizens feel safe in the face of everything that threatens their health and the balance of their daily lives. We continue to upgrade the health structures throughout the city, with the aim of covering every small or large need for primary care in all seven municipal communities,” the Mayor of Athens said in a statement. The Municipal Dispensaries have been significantly strengthened in the last 4 years with additional medical staff, infrastructure and a new operating model, now becoming a point of reference for primary health care in Athens. The Multi-purpose Centers are reinforced Municipal Clinics and provide the possibility of offering medical, social, psychological, labor and legal services from a single Center, which are addressed to all Athenians and all Athenians, completely free of charge.
More than 450,000 appointments in the last 4 years
Throughout this period, more than 450,000 appointments have been made at the Municipal Clinics of the Municipality of Athens, of which over 210,000 belong to vulnerable and vulnerable groups of the population.

All medical services provided in the new Multipurpose Center
In the new Multipurpose Center of the Municipality of Athens in Petralona, ​​health professionals of various specialties have already been hired and will provide services such as General Practitioner, Pediatrician, Gynecologist, Physiologist, Dentist, Orthopedist, Physiotherapist, Midwife, Nurse, Nutritionist etc.
The Center provides citizens with primary care that includes a clinical examination, prescribing medication and diagnostic tests, performing medical and dental procedures up to actions at the community level from a wide range of medical and paramedical scientific specialties. With the aim of better addressing the needs of each beneficiary, all scientific specialties are interconnected.
Social services
At the same time, the Versatile Center provides psychosocial support from psychologists, legal support, professional counseling services in social entrepreneurship, as well as community-level actions from social scientists who specialize in providing personalized services.
It also offers personalized service in the field of social services, both those provided by the municipality and those provided by public agencies and organizations, as well as non-governmental organizations within the boundaries of the Municipality of Athens.
It is noted that every visit to the clinic takes place after a telephone appointment.
