The free passage of the tolls for vehicles over 3.5 tons on the “Charilaos Trikoupis” Bridge of Rio – Antirrio, on the toll road of Egnatia Road between Thessaloniki and the intersection with Ionia Road and along the Ionia Road is extended for the same period of time
Extends, until 6 a.m. of Thursday 21 September 2023, the free passage of all vehicles from the toll road on the E65 motorway and in the section of the “Aegean” Motorway from Nice, to the Malia Gulf, including the side tolls in the area in question, by order of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Staikouras and the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for Infrastructure, Nikos Tahiaou .
Also, in order to facilitate traffic, due to the effects of the bad weather “Daniel”, it is extended for the same period of time, the free passage of the tolls for vehicles over 3.5 tons at the Rio – Antirrio “Charilaos Trikoupis” Bridge, at the Egnatia Road tolls between Thessaloniki and the intersection with Ionia Odos and along the Ionia Odos, regardless of direction.
It is noted that the concessionaires must keep a file with a detailed record of the crossings. The cost will be borne by the State, by virtue of the Concession Agreements, while a new update will follow if any extension of this extraordinary measure is required.
