Reactions to Prenatal Education videos sent to schools

Strong reactions were provoked both on social media and in the political world for three videos that have been sent by the Hellenic Society of Prenatal Education, for promotion in high schools across the country, having even received approval from the Institute of Educational Policy of the Ministry of Education.

The videos entitled “Prenatal Education, preparation for parenthood, Sexuality-Fertility-Parenthood, an inseparable unit” reproduce the theory of the unborn child, that is, the life of a child begins with conception.

In fact, the videos go even further with this theory, claiming that conception begins when the mother conceives the idea of ​​having a child, while they state that the mother, in addition to her blood, passes her thoughts, spiritual food to the fetus and that All of a child’s illnesses, even if they occur decades later, are related to pregnancy.

According to the company theory, the choice of genetic material depends on the quality of the couple’s relationship. “When the couple at the time of conception, is in a higher mental state, it is an experience that the child carries throughout his life.”

The examples are drawn from ancient Greek mythology and the children who came from the union of Gods, as “… the myths symbolize the quality of the spirituality of the couple”.

It is noted that the videos have caused a stir on social media, with the hashtag # video_fertility being first in the trends, while users talk about obscure and anachronistic perceptions.

The videos were initially approved by the Institute of Educational Policy, however after the uproar, the president of the Institute announced that the Board of Directors of IEP decided to revoke the approval of the Educational Program of the Non-Profit Association “Hellenic Society of Prenatal Education”.
