The police officer, who was arrested on Thursday 9/21 accused of participating in a criminal organization that trafficked narcotics in Attica, was suspended, by decision of the Hellenic Police Headquarters.

At the same time, a Sworn Administrative Examination was ordered against him.

As emerged from the investigation and from the pre-investigative material, the members of the organization acted with distinct roles, namely:

-The two members of the organization, including the policeman, jointly procured the narcotics and stored them in the policeman’s house,

-The third member, after selling the quantities assigned to him, handed over the amount of money he obtained to the other two members, who then “reinvested” the money for the supply of a new and larger quantity of cocaine, while

-Selling to potential customers, who were people from their friendly environment, was undertaken by all three members.

Characteristic of the secrecy with which they operated are also the coded words they used for narcotics so that the content of their conversations could not be perceived.
