The Armed Forces continue to assist in the affected areas of Thessaly, and by order of GEETHA are also on standby to deal with the upcoming wave of bad weather Elias
The army has been put on alert for the upcoming wave of bad weather Elias, in the wider area of Thessaly, with 770 military personnel available and 673 military personnel, among them commandos, in readiness, together with the necessary equipment.
In particular, the Armed Forces continue to assist in the affected areas of Thessaly, and by order of the Greek Ministry of Defense, they are also on standby to deal with the Elias bad weather wave, in full coordination with Civil Protection, having staff and means as follows:
