At the same time, the Operations Center due to the bad weather “Elias” has received from this morning until 6 pm 168 calls in the region of Central Greece, of which 125 were from Evia.
In particular, the The Operations Center of the Fire Brigade received calls mainly for pumping water in areas of the country due to the occurrence of heavy rainfall.
Specifically:
– In the Region of Thessalyfrom Tuesday, September 5 to today at 18:00, received 10,495 calls and so far 3,715 water pumps have been carried out, while 3,577 people have been moved to safe places.
– In the Peloponnese Region, pthe Regional Unit of Corinth, from the afternoon of Monday September 25 to today at 18:00, it received 77 calls, of which, 29 for pumping water, three for cutting trees and two transporting people to safe places.
-In the Region of Western Greece, in the Regional Unit of Achaia, since the morning hours today he received 15 calls, of which 12 were for water pumping and four for tree cutting.
–In the Region of Central Greece since morning hours today received 168 calls as follows::
in Evia 125 calls, of which 50 for water pumping, 13 for cutting trees and 8 for transporting people to safe places.
