The residents who had not had time to recover from the previous floods are in despair
The passage of bad weather Elias from Volos was sweeping, just 20 days after the devastating Daniel and while the residents had not had time to recover from the previous floods.
The city of Volos resembles a vast mudflat while all the suburbs in the direction of coastal Pelion have been blocked off because of the streams that “dropped” thousands of tons of water into the sea and destroyed roads and all kinds of infrastructure.
The entire area towards Agrias remains cut off by roadwhile the village has been buried in mud, soil and water.
In Agria all the roads have been destroyed, many houses have been flooded, businesses on the beach front have been destroyed and cars have been swept into the sea, which has been turned brown by the tons of mud that have been dumped there.
Since yesterday, the entire picturesque fishing village has been flooded, as a result houses and businesses to “sink” in the muddy waterwhile many residents were lucky to even escape with their lives.
