The official launching ceremony of the first Greek frigate Belharra (FDI HN) named “Kimon – F 601” will take place on October 4, in the presence of the political and military leadership of the Armed Forces
In a “technical launch”, i.e. a test launch, the frigate “KIMON”, the Greek frigate Belharra, the French company went ahead Naval Group, according to photos published by the Naval News website.
On September 11, the Naval Group released a photo of the Greek Belharra shortly before it was launched.

The new and advanced Kimon-class FDI frigates, according to Naval Group’s schedule, will be delivered in a very short time, starting from 2025 for the first two surface units “KIMON” and “NEARCHOS” and in 2026 for the third “FORMION” frigate.
