In the multinational exercise with the brand “Noble Blueprint 23”, the Armed Forces participated from September 11 to 27. The exercise took place at the Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria under the NATO Multinational Force Enhanced Vigilance Activity Battlegroup Bulgaria.

As announced today Saturday by GEETHA, the CPX – LFX (Command Post Exercise – Live Fire Exercise) exercise aims to train the participants on the procedures of rapid deployment and maneuver of forces at the level of a Company Group, while providing support to Artillery and Administrative Departments .

The participation of the Armed Forces intended to strengthen the defensive arrangementof the alliance’s cohesion and deterrence capacity, as well as in projecting their capabilities in an inter-alliance context, strengthening Greece’s role as a factor of security and stability in the region and beyond.

Excercise

Forces from Bulgaria, the USA, Italy, Montenegro, Albania, and the Republic of North Macedonia participated, while from the Greek side, an anti-tank platoon of special composition participated with which our country takes part in the NATO Enhanced Vigilance Activity Battlegroup Bulgaria.

On September 26, the distinguished visitors day of the exercise was held, which was attended by the commander of the US Naval Forces Europe – Africa and the Allied Joint Force Command Naples Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, the commander of the Armed Forces of Bulgaria Admiral Emil Eftimov and the commander of II Mechanized Infantry Division Major General Aristides Iliopoulos.
