Prince William and Kate Middleton had a meeting with Apple CEO Timothy Cook at Windsor Castle.

“It was a great honor to meet the Prince and Princess of Wales. We had a wonderful and extensive discussion about the environment, mental health and other issues that mean a lot to all of us,” Timothy Cook wrote in a post on X a few hours after the meeting.

The snapshots that have seen the light of day show the CEO of Apple with the royal couple in one of the luxurious rooms of the Castle. William had collaborated in December 2021 with Apple Fitness+ to record a podcast called “Time to Walk”. During a tour of the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, the prince spoke about the importance of maintaining mental health while sharing personal stories. One of them was when they were singing with his brother and mother in the car going to school.

“Our mother used to play all kinds of songs to relieve some of the stress of going back to school. One of the songs that has stuck with me to this day – and I secretly enjoy – is “The Best” by Tina Turner. We were sitting in the back seat, and it was like a real family moment as my mother, who was driving, was singing as loud as she could,” he told Time to Walk.

It is noted that for the podcast, Apple made a six-figure donation to three charities chosen by William, the Daily Mail reports.
