Trial activation of all the Civil Defense alarm sirens, throughout the territory, will take place today, Monday, October 2, as part of the “Parmenion – 23” exercise.

As announced, the activation schedule includes the following:

  • at 11:00, air raid warning signal, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (intermittent sound of different intensity),
  • time 11:05, marking the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant volume),
  • at 11:10 a.m., air raid warning signal, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (intermittent sound of varying intensity) in the North-Eastern Sector (Region of North Macedonia and Thrace, Regional Units of Lesvos and Limnos),
  • time 11:15, marking the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant volume), in the Northeast Sector,
  • at 11:20 a.m., air raid warning signal, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (intermittent sound of varying intensity) in the Southern Sector (Region of South Aegean, Region of Crete, Regional Units of Arcadia, Messinia, Laconia),
  • time 11:25, marking the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant volume), in the South Sector,
  • at 11:30 a.m., warning warning sign of CBRP threat, for a duration of one hundred to twenty (120) seconds (intermittent sound of different intensity) throughout the Territory,
  • at 11:35, marking the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant volume), throughout the Territory,
  • at 12:20 p.m., marking of an attack CBRP alarm, for a duration of one hundred to twenty (120) seconds (intermittent sound of different intensity) in the Northeast (Region of North Macedonia and Thrace, Regional Units of Lesvos and Limnos) and in the South Sector (Region of South Aegean) , Region of Crete, Regional Units of Arcadia, Messinia, Laconia),
  • 12:25 p.m., marking the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant volume), in the North-East and South Sectors,
  • at 12:30 p.m., warning sign of a threat CBRP warning, for a duration of one hundred-twenty (120) seconds (intermittent sound of different intensity) in the Northeast (Region of North Macedonia and Thrace, Regional Units of Lesbos and Lemnos) and in the South Sector (Region of South) Aegean Region, Region of Crete, Regional Units of Arcadia, Messinia, Laconia),
  • 12:35, marking the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant volume), in the North-East and South Sectors,
  • 12:40 p.m., CBRP attack warning signal, for a duration of one hundred-twenty (120) seconds (intermittent sound of different intensity) in the Attica Region and Thessaloniki Regional Unit,
  • at 12:45 p.m., signaling the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant volume), in the Region of Attica and the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki,
  • at 12:50 p.m., warning sign of a CBRP threat warning, for a duration of one hundred to twenty (120) seconds (intermittent sound of different intensity) in the Attica Region and Thessaloniki Regional Unit and
  • time 12:55, marking the end of the alarm, for a duration of sixty (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant intensity), in the Region of Attica and the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki.

Simultaneously with the sounding of the alarm sirens, the bells of the Holy Temples of the Territory will be rung with a series of short peals at a fast pace of three minutes.
