With gastronomic events in SP, October is the month for those who like to eat; see agenda

October is a month full of events in São Paulo for those who like to eat. The capital of São Paulo is home to attractions such as Breakfast Weekend, Coffee Week and Restaurant Week, which offer combos at promotional prices at addresses throughout the regions.

The gastronomic agenda also includes events dedicated to wine, special dinners in restaurants and meetings between chefs, who prepare menus together. Discover the options below and enjoy.

Amadeus

The restaurant specializing in fish and seafood promotes two dinners paired with Portuguese wines, on the 2nd and 17th of October. On the first date, the seven-course tasting menu is accompanied by six different labels. It includes dishes such as oysters, octopus carpaccio and cod rice. Meals cost R$745 per person and must be reserved.

Breakfast Weekend

In its fourth edition, the event continues until the 29th of this month in around 50 addresses offering breakfast from R$34.90. Bakeries, cafes, restaurants and hotels create combo or buffet options in four price ranges: R$ 34.90; R$ 42.90; R$54.90 and R$84.90, depending on the menu. Among the participating establishments are Fran’s Café, Le Pain Quotidien, Nouzin, Mondo Pane and Hilton hotel.

Coffee Week Brazil

Dedicated to coffee, the festival brings together around one hundred coffee shops in the capital of São Paulo, which offer drink combos for R$14.90 and R$24.90. Café Habitual, for example, serves a combination with organic brewed coffee and cake for R$14.90, and another with organic brewed coffee with cake and cheese bread for R$24.90. Casa Godinho, Beth Bakery, Gato Griô and Sterna Café are other participants. The ninth edition runs until October 15th.

They Are Soul

The Soul Botequim bar, in the south zone, opens its kitchen to welcome chefs weekly during the month of October. The first guest is Talitha Barros, who runs the Conceição Discos restaurant. She prepares some of her exclusive recipes and dishes on Wednesday (4), from 6pm to midnight. To accompany, there are beers, wines and drinks.

Ceagesp Fish and Seafood Festival

The gastronomic event at the warehouse in Vila Leopoldina allows you to eat fish and seafood dishes at your leisure for the price of R$ 139.90, from Wednesday to Sunday. There are around 60 items on the menu, which varies each week, such as roasted shrimp, paella marinera, crab and lobster au gratin. There is also a salad and risotto buffet.

Restaurant Week

Around 200 addresses in the capital of São Paulo and Greater São Paulo offer menus that include a starter, main course and dessert, in three price categories. The traditional one has menus starting at R$54.90 for lunch and R$69.90 for dinner. Call plus offers lunch for R$68.90 and dinner for R$89.90. In the premium category, lunch costs R$89 and dinner R$109. Addresses such as L’Entrecôte de Paris, Duas Terezas, Paellas Pepe, Antipasti Amici and the pizzeria Graça di Napolli are participating.
