Pictures of a newborn silver gibbon at the Curraghs Wildlife Park on the Isle of Man are making the rounds on the internet.

According to the Park’s post, the rare little monkey was born 2 weeks ago, is healthy and “doesn’t leave the arms of her mom, Slamet, who is an excellent mother.”

“We are pleased to announce the birth of a rare silver gibbon in our Park! This is the 3rd baby gibbon born here since 2017,” Curraghs Wildlife Park wrote in its post, accompanying the post with a cute photo of the monkey.

The silver gibbon lives in tropical forests on the island of Java, Indonesia and is one of the most endangered species.​​
