An incredible and shocking incident that happened on Saturday in Naxos came to the public in the last few hours. On Saturday morning, a 13-year-old girl went with her mother to the hospital with unbearable abdominal pain and gave birth in the hospital toilet, not knowing that she was pregnant

According to Mega, the pediatrician at the hospital who examined the girl, did not understand that the 1st High School student was ready to give birth and diagnosed tympani.

“At the hospital, when asked by the pediatrician, the little girl and the mother said that she had not had sexual contact,” explained Michalis Giannakos, president of POEDIN.

The pediatrician with these data concludes that it was about drumming and gives her the corresponding medication.

“They gave him for drumming laxativesthere the child was slaughtering and gave birth to one healthy baby girl in the toilet bowl”, revealed the president of POEDIN.

According to an ERT report, the pediatrician administered it to her enema, as provided in these cases. But the girl was slow to get out of the toilet, the doctor went to find her and then saw that she had given birth.

Then the 13-year-old underwent an X-ray to see if there was any complication and in the absence of a gynecologist she was transferred to Syros hospital where she is being treated together with her baby. Both are in good health.

It is worth noting that there was no radiologist at the Naxos hospital at the time, which is why the minor did not undergo an ultrasound before giving birth in the toilet.

No one had understood

This incredible incident causes shock, but at the same time it also raises a series of questions about how a 13-year-old girl was pregnant for 9 months and no one had noticed.

The minor reportedly later revealed to the child psychologists who examined her that the child’s father is a classmate of hers at school.

It has happened again

The president of POEDIN made another revelation as this is not the first incident of an underage student giving birth in the said hospital.

“Unfortunately, this is the 3rd incident in a decade at this hospital. It had also happened to a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old girl,” he said.

Ultimately, the 13-year-old and the infant – both in good health – were transferred to a larger hospital, which has a maternity clinic, while the authorities conduct an investigation into the incident.
