Dried figs stuffed with almonds and chocolate coating

by

Dried figs, stuffed with almonds and dipped in dark chocolate, are a centuries-old delight that still adorns many formal meals today.

But even if you do not have to organize a dinner for many people (really, do you remember the last time you did it?), The stuffed – and chocolate – dried figs are a dessert that steals the impressions, whenever you serve it .

What you will need (for about 20 pieces):

  • 10 large dried figs
  • 20 whole peeled almonds
  • 300 grams of dark chocolate, cut into pieces

How to make them:

First, you need to open the figs in the middle with a small knife. Put an almond in each half and then press the ends of the half together to close it as best you can.

Have a sheet of oil glue ready. Melt the chocolate in a baking pan. With quick movements, dip the stuffed half figs in the melted chocolate, wrapping them around to cover them – either half or whole. Then touch them to the oil paste and let them dry.

Tip: If you like the combination of chocolate with orange, you can put half a slice of orange, candied, together with the almond.
