The submission of applications starts tomorrow Wednesday at 14:00 and will last until the available places are filled
After the participation of 110,000 unemployed people in DYPA’s digital and green skills upgrading programs, “opens” a new round of applications for an additional 30,000 unemployed.
The submission of applications will start on Wednesday 18 October 2023 at 14:00, until the available places are filled.
The programs aim to linking training with the needs of the labor market and strengthening the employability of the unemployed for their faster reintegration into work, in the context of the digital and green transition of the economy.
Each trainee will attend a theoretical training program of total duration up to 200 hours. After completing the training, the beneficiaries they will participate in knowledge and skills certification exams from independent bodies and those who succeed will receive the full training allowance amounting to up to 1,000 euros (5 euros per training hour).
The project is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with funding from the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

Those who apply and meet the participation conditions ia join the Register of Beneficiaries and then they will be able to choose the training program they wish to attend from the list of programs offered.

With a total budget of 301.5 million euros, the training action for the unemployed is the largest Continuous Vocational Training action that has ever been implemented in the country.
The Minister of Labor and Social Security Adonis Georgiades, he said: “I am very pleased to see another successful DYPA program being launched which will give 30,000 unemployed people the opportunity to receive training in skills that meet the real needs of today’s job market. Digital and green skills upgrading programs are important for faster job reintegration of the unemployed. We need to be able to reliably and quickly train as many people as we can so that they can find work very easily. The new skills certification program of DYPA will “equip” with all those supplies that the unemployed need to “go out” ready for the labor market”.
The Governor of DYPA Spyros Protopsaltis, said: “The Public Employment Service has now assumed the central role in the critical area of ​​training and retraining of our country’s human resources, implementing new generation actions in high demand skills. As part of the Recovery Fund, we have set a national target of training 500,000 of our fellow citizens by 2025 to acquire skills that will enable them to find good, quality jobs. After the first cycle of programs, which was completed by more than 220,000 citizens, we are launching a new cycle for an additional 30,000 unemployed people, in digital and green skills. DYPA is next to those looking for work, providing all the modern means to join the labor market with the qualifications that will strengthen the competitiveness and development of the Greek economy.
