Head injuries and bruises all over the face and body, as well as hematoma on the liver are the injuries caused to a 14-year-old boy, a group of 10 young people who unnecessarily attacked him and his 15-year-old brother, while they were walking on the beach of Thessaloniki.
It was 9pm last Saturday when the two brothers, aged 14 and 15, were walking on the beach when at the height of Macedonia Palace they suddenly saw a group of 10 young people asking them to go to them. The two brothers felt in danger and started running. The older brother managed to escape, but not the 14-year-old, who was caught and started beating.
The perpetrators of the attack, while beating the 14-year-old, asked him if he belonged to a specific group in the city.
The hotel staff, according to the father of the two children, was the one who went out, repelled the people who were furiously hitting the 14-year-old and finally saved the child.
Authorities are investigating videos of the area and are stepping up checks to identify the perpetrators of the attack.
