Four people were arrested yesterday morning for the murder of the 8-year-old in Zefyrilast Saturday afternoon.

The 4 perpetrators surrendered on Tuesday afternoon in the presence of their lawyer. The two were the drivers of the vehicles the perpetrators were riding in.

According to the police announcement, the case of homicide against an 8-year-old citizen and attempted homicide against a 7-year-old citizen, which took place on the afternoon of October 14, 2023 in the area of ​​Zefirio, was solved.

In particular, yesterday morning, four people aged 22, 30, 26 and 22 years old were arrested following relevant arrest warrants, while they have still been identified and are being sought.

As it emerged from the research, the defendants who were riding in at least three vehicles approached a house, where on an elevated balcony there were women and children, and using hunting rifles and pistols they fired repeatedly.

The 8-year-old was mortally wounded by the shots, while the 7-year-old suffered physical injuries.

During the autopsy carried out at the scene of the crime, 6 shotgun shells and 20 firearm shells were found on the road.

It is noted that, the defendants have been employed in the past for a number of crimes.

Those arrested are taken to the competent prosecuting authority, while the investigation continues.
