Parents, teachers and the entire society of Agrinio are deeply concerned by the incident of violence that occurred in a primary school of Agrinio on Wednesday, October 18.

According to information, two 4th grade students they initially fell out when one side tried to defend a younger brother who sought help to deal with mocking comments he was receiving.

According to the same sources, tempers flared and the situation got out of hand, with five teachers who were at the scene, intervening to separate the students.

However a student was injured and after episodes of vomiting and pain at the level of the kidney she was transferred to the Agrini Hospital. There the doctors deemed it necessary to transfer her to the Karamandane Children’s Hospital in Patras.

The child was then transferred to the Children’s hospital and there underwent a series of tests to determine if there is a rupture of an organ, something that was ruled out and after instructions were given to the parents regarding the progression of the symptoms, the student was discharged late in the afternoon.

For the incident that has become a matter of serious discussion and reflection, the competent authorities have not been informed in an effort to provide solutions and to deal with it through the school and family environment of the students.
