The fire is burning an agro-forestry area – Strong ground and air forces are working to extinguish it
An alarm was sounded at the Corfu fire department at noon on Saturday due to the fire that broke out in Agios Stefanos Avliotos, in the north of the island.
According to Kerkyrasimera information, the flames are near a residential area while a few minutes ago a message was sent from 112 to evacuate the area.

The fire is burning an agroforestry area, while ground and air forces are operating in the area: 22 firefighters with 9 vehicles and 4 aircraft
