People in Thessaly are still counting their wounds from the devastating flood brought by storm Daniel.
A report by SKAI reveals that 45 days after the Vlochos Karditsa it is now a ghost village. The prevailing atmosphere is suffocating and there is no one walking on the street.
THE Pineyada of Trikala has remained with mud and is full of garbage, while the same is observed in Palama Karditsawhere most of the houses are demolished.
The touching story of Mr. Thanasis from Elassona
There are many stories of people forced to live in half-demolished houses of the areas affected by the bad weather.
More specifically, a resident of Elassona, Mr. Thanasis, in 2021 was forced to leave his house due to the earthquake as it was full of cracks and was therefore deemed uninhabitable.
So he went to relocate to a container, but when the bad weather came Daniel the container that was his only accommodation was completely destroyed by the flood, therefore he was forced to return to his earthquake damaged home as is not entitled to compensation for the container.
In the midst of all this, his car has also been completely destroyed.
