An untold tragedy occurred in a football match between Ilioupoli and Ermionida.
Just in the 5th minute of the match, 22-year-old Alexandros Lampi collapsed and a little later he lost his life!
The bad thing happened when the young footballer went to execute a side, when he fell unconscious. The match was stopped and the doctors tried to bring him back, but to no avail, although there was a defibrillator in the area.
The ambulance was late to reach the First Municipal Stadium of Ilioupoli for about 15 minutes.
As the communication director of Ermionida, Lefteris Dagres, announced the officials of the match, they stated that “the player was transported to the hospital with minimal pulse and without any contact with the environment”.
The young extreme striker was transported intubated to the hospital, where he unfortunately ended up.
