Alexis Kougias returned to the defense – The accused mother is preparing to apologize for Georgina’s death
Tomorrow, the trial of Roula Pispirigou will continue, which will again have Alexis Kougia and his partner on her side as well as one of the three defense attorneys appointed by the court.
According to president of the MOD, which earlier rejected the 35-year-old’s request to call two genetics professors as expert witnesses, as long as the two scientists are in court tomorrow morning they will be examined as defense witnesses
“If they are here at 9:30 they will be examined” the president said to the accused and continued: “otherwise you will excuse yourself, unless you want to respect the right to remain silent.”
The accused is preparing to apologize to the MOD for what she is accused of doing to the detriment of her first child Georginawhich ended in January 2022, while she has less than a month before the start of the trial for the murders of her two youngest daughters, Malena and Iris.
Earlier, the court requested that Mr. Kougias appear. When the appointed advocate said that the criminologist has another court outside Athens, the president asked for written confirmations from the provincial court’s secretariat.
Finally the confirmation was made by the Headquarters, as announced by the president.
