Mr. Lydakis announced his resignation on the occasion of the transfer of pathologists from Venizelio to other hospitals on the island
No end to the problems at the Venizelio hospital as well a few days after taking up his duties, the acting administrator of the hospital, Haris Lydakis sent a letter of resignation.
According to confirmed information from cretapost, Mr. Lydakis, in a letter to the 7th Ministry of Health of Crete, announces his resignation on the occasion of the movement of pathologists from Venizelio to other hospitals on the island.
He had also in the past reacted to the measure of the movement of pathologists from Venizelio to cover the positions in other nursing institutions as in this way enormous problems were caused in the daily operation of the hospital.
As he states in his letter of resignation, Mr. Lydakis was asked to choose another doctor in order to move to Rethymno to cover the positions with him offering himself for this move.
His letter concludes with the submission of his resignation both from the position of director of the Medical Service and from the official administration of the hospital.
