A gathering in Aristotelous Square, at the statue of Venizelos and a march through central streets of Thessaloniki was held as a sign of solidarity with the Palestinian people, at the initiative of labor unions and the Committee for International Recession and Peace.
Student associations and members of the Palestinian community participated in the mobilization, during which protest was expressed with banners and slogans against the attacks of the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip and the exclusion of the people of Palestine.
