The possibility to request and receive electronic copies of its Books-Forms Greek Policeto file an appeal for an infringement that has been verified, as well as to file a complaint for financial crimes, citizens have from today through the gov.gr.

Overall it’s about six new serviceswhich are in production operation as of today following the Joint Ministerial Decision of the Ministers of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and Citizen Protection Yiannis Oikonomos.

More specifically, the services now provided through gov.gr are:

  1. Submitting an objection on a certificate of violation
  2. Reporting Financial Crimes – (Named or Anonymous)
  3. Copy of property damage road traffic accident report
  4. Copy of EL.AS vehicle daily ticket
  5. Copy of phone call to Immediate Action
  6. Copy of certificate of violation

Citizens can, in a friendly and simple way, submit an application, objection or complaint electronically through gov.gr, to the competent Service of the Hellenic Police, after logging in with Taxisnet or web banking codes. At the same time, through the electronic boxes of gov.gr that have been assigned to the services of EL.AS, they can directly, accurately and transparently monitor the progress of their request, without having to visit any service.

All of the six new services are in the “Citizen and everyday life” category, more specifically:

In the “Certificates and Copies” life event, interested parties will find:

  • Objection to a certificate of infringement
  • Copy of certificate of violation
  • Copy of phone call to Immediate Action
  • Copy of traffic accident report

In the life event “Movements” interested parties will find:

  • Copy of vehicle daily ticket

In the “Complaints” life event, interested parties will find:

  • Complaint about financial crimes

After the completion of the processing of the request by EL.AS, the copy is sent electronically to the citizen’s inbox at my.gov.gr, who is simultaneously notified by a message to his mobile phone (SMS) and an email message (email).

It is pointed out that the copy incorporates all validity features (QR Code, Verification Code, advanced electronic seal of the Unified Digital Portal of the Government) and can be presented for any legal use. The citizen’s information for submitting an application, objection or complaint is automatically drawn from the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance.

The six (6) new digital services will be added to the joint actions implemented by the Ministries of Digital Governance and Citizen Protection for the digitization of Greek Police services.

The planning and development of the services were carried out by the Hellenic Police, the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance and the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET) of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
