In the Neurosurgery Clinic of the “G. Papanikolaou” Hospital, the two young men who were injured during the fight between fans of Aris and PAOK that took place yesterday afternoon in the area of Voulgari, east of Thessaloniki, remain for treatment.
According to information from the hospital, and both have brain injuries and their condition is considered serious but their lives are not in danger.
In the meantime, the case is in the hands of the 5th regular investigator of Thessaloniki, where the arrested were referred to apologize and remain in custody. Of the 15 accused, fans of both teams, three were released, among them the two injured and one minor (16 years old).
The prosecutor charged 9 of the prisoners, fans of the same group, with serious intentional bodily harm (for the same act, the minor will also be called to apologize, as the 10th defendant), as well as for a series of misdemeanors. Acts amounting to a misdemeanor were charged against 5 fans of the other team, among them are the two injured.
Those prosecuted only for misdemeanors were given a deadline for tomorrow and the rest for Thursday.
