The arogi.gov.gr platform was reopened for modifications to the applications of those affected by the summer fires. Specifically, the relevant joint ministerial decisions were published in the Government Gazette (Government Gazette B ‘292 / 30.01.2022, B’ 296 / 30.01.2022 and B ‘297 / 30.01.2022), with which the arogi.gov platform is reopened. gr for households and businesses affected by the large fires of summer and wish to make a modification (by reducing the requested amount) or withdrawing their application for first aid.
In this context, the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Responsible for State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Christos Triantopoulos, stated in this regard:
“The government, continuing the systematic implementation of support and rehabilitation measures in the areas affected by the big fires of the summer, gives the opportunity to the victims who applied on the platform arogi.gov.gr for first aid against housing assistance or business subsidy or for household goods compensation, to correct or even withdraw their application, depending on their image of the extent of the damage they have suffered. Those interested can correct or withdraw their application until Monday, February 14, 2022 “.
It is pointed out that the first aid applications submitted on time – until October 15, 2021 – can be withdrawn in whole or in part or modified by reducing the requested amount depending on the severity of the damage, after a relevant modification of the application on the arogi platform. .gov.gr from the 31st of January 2022 until the 14th of February 2022.
In the event of a modification of the application and if aid has already been paid in excess of the amount resulting from the modification of the application, the excess amount shall be refunded as unduly paid and shall be collected in accordance with the provisions on the collection of public revenue.
