With a very well-organized and highly dangerous spiral that hits ATMs in “decentralized” locations across the country, it seems that the police investigating the unprecedented early morning blasting of the automatic withdrawal machine in Nice, outside Larissa, have to do.

The way in which the four or five perpetrators moved and acted clearly shows that they are not among the so-called “amateurs” who have attempted something similar from time to time.

According to what the report of onlarissa.gr records, the explosive mechanism they placed was “precise” as a result of which the target was achieved without major damage to the surrounding area. At the same time, eyewitnesses from an adjacent coffee shop who watched in amazement what unfolded around 2.30 in the morning, confirmed that the perpetrators were heavily armed, while at least one of them was working as a “chiliador” on the main street of the settlement.

The general course of action “shows” that this is the same spiral that has “hit” other automatic withdrawal machines in the countryside and in general in places far from the big urban centers. In fact, it is estimated that the same methodology was followed by those who had also blown up an ATM in Aigio, exchanging shots with the police about two weeks ago.

As far as the monetary loot is concerned, it is estimated to be over 140,000 euros, while the extremely interesting aspect of the case is that due to the age of the ATM, the money was not “trapped” so that it could be rendered useless in the event of an attempt to steal it!
