Moments of horror were experienced by the buyers of a house in Alabama, USA, who, when they moved and went to clean, found a decomposing corpse inside the freezer of the house.
The incredible incident happened on Sunday, when the new owners entered the house where the Halstead family lived until a month ago.
The new owners tried to lift and dispose of the home’s damaged freezer but, because it was too heavy, they opened it to empty it first.
Then they saw the macabre sight before them corpse which was decaying.
They immediately called the police, who concluded that the body belonged to 19 year old son of the Halstead family, Logan Michael.
The authorities arrested the parents of the unfortunate 19-year-old, Michael Shane Halstead and Karen Tysinger Halstead, for the murder of their son and for abuse of a corpse.
The father claimed his wife was not involved in their son’s murder.
In fact, he said he suffered a manic episode and did not remember how his son’s body was found in the freezer.
The two parents gave conflicting statements and clashed during their pleas.
