Bakoyannis for Rubicon: No one will stop me from doing my job

by

No one will stop me from doing my job, is the message of the Mayor of Athens, Costas Bakoyannis, after the incident of gathering members of Rubicon outside a cafeteria where there was an event where he was.

As it is emphasized in a relevant announcement, the Mayor, every day visits a different neighborhood of Athens.

Tonight he was in Kato Patisia, and while talking, in a cafe in the area, with citizens about neighborhood issues, a group of members of the Rubicon appeared holding banners, throwing T-shirts and shouting slogans.

The Mayor, as stated in the announcement, unaffected and with absolute composure, continued to listen and answer the questions of those present. He continued to do his job as he usually says.

The intervention of the police led to arrests.

Costas Bakoyannis asked not to be persecuted, but made a harsh post on social networks.

“No hafiedotsourmo overshadows me and can not stop me from doing my job. “Every day, in a different neighborhood, I talk to Athenians,” he wrote specifically.
