The results for the admission of distinguished athletes to higher education for the year 2023/2024 were announced by the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports.

The above results are available to candidates online on the official website of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports www.minedu.gov.gr (home page) or at the online address https://results.it.minedu.gov.gr

Candidates will be able to find out the results by entering the 8-digit exam code in the relevant field and as a password they will use their four initials, last name, first name, patronymic and patronymic (in Greek capital letters).

Candidates who are admitted without quantitative restriction to a Faculty, Department/Admission Direction of a University Department of their choicethey can be informed of the results in the above way, provided they know the candidate’s eight-digit code number, or by contacting the following telephone numbers: 210-3442074, 210-3442705, 2103442661, 2103442100, 210-3442709.

The registration of the successful distinguished athletes of the year 2023, in the schools and departments of Higher Education will be carried out electronically, during the period from Monday 13/11/2023 to Friday 17/11/2023. The registration of the successful Athletes will be done electronically through certification of their mobile phone number, carried out within the Electronic Registration Information System.

The registration process will be carried out during the above period with the application of the successful candidates for their school or department of success, through the electronic application of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports at the online address https://eregister.it.minedu.gov.gr, as following:

  • Successful Distinguished Athletes, who had submitted a Computerized Report in July 2023, will need to enter the 8-digit candidate exam code and the same password that they used for their entry in the September online registration or Computerized Report application.
  • The successful distinguished Athletes of the category, without quantitative limitation, who have not submitted a Computerized Report in the year 2023, will need to enter the 8-digit candidate exam code and as a password they will use their four initials, last name, first name, patronymic and patronymic (in Greek capital letters).

To access the online application, the school units will provide support to successful candidates in terms of passwords, while after entering the application, a detailed user manual will be available for their convenience, as well as brief instructions.

Through the online application, the successful candidates, in the event that they have previously registered in a School or Department of Higher Education, will declare the School or Department in which they are already registered and will simultaneously request their deletion, in order to complete registration at the new Faculty or Department. Any students enrolled in Departments of abolished TEIs will request their deletion by first looking for the Institution (University) to which the relevant Department joined and then the (in transitional academic function) Department of the TEI, from which they wish to be deleted. For the convenience of applicants, a detailed list is provided in the Department Details menu, matching the Departments of the former TEIs with the Universities they have joined until the completion of their transitional operation.

The application for registration of the successful candidates through the electronic application of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports has the character of a Declaration of Responsibility. Successful applicants after entering the application will be asked to fill in their personal Social Security Number (SIN), which will be verified through interoperability with the National SIN Registry. In addition, successful candidates will see the ID or Passport Number they entered in their Computerized Pass and will be able to correct it if it is no longer valid.

During the Electronic Registration process, the successful candidates must state their contact details, which are confirmed through relevant mechanisms of the electronic application. It is pointed out that the correctness of the contact details is particularly important as the Secretariats of the Schools/Departments will be able to use them in further procedures.
