You want to cook salmon with garlic and honey and are you afraid that you will fail? Don’t worry about anything because here you will find the most perfect and easy recipe to do it. What will you need?

For the sauce:

  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 large garlic clove, melted

For the salmon:

  • 2 salmon fillets (200g per fillet), skinless
  • olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • sesame seeds, for garnish
  • chives or spring onion, finely chopped, for garnish

How to make it:

  1. Take the salmon fillets out of the fridge 20 minutes before you start cooking them.
  2. Wipe the fillets evenly with kitchen paper and add salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, put the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and whisk until combined.
  4. Put olive oil in a non-stick pan and put on medium-high heat.
  5. Then put the salmon in the pan and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Turn over and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Pour the sauce over the salmon and cook for 1 minute until it begins to thicken slightly.
  8. If the salmon is not cooked and the sauce has thickened enough, add 1 tbsp. water.
  9. Remove the pan from the heat, transfer the fillets to plates, pour the sauce over them, sprinkle with sesame seeds and you are ready to serve!
