We are pleased to announce that the competitive tender process for selecting a tenant for its iconic Mansion Bodosaki Foundation was successfully completed, highlighting the proposal of the Hellenic Parliament as prevailing.

From January 1, 2024, the Bodosaki Mansion on Amalia and Souri Streets, in the Syntagma area, will be leased by the Hellenic Parliament, in order to bring together its important services that are currently housed in various buildings in the Athens Center area, while the income from the lease will be directed to the achievement of the charitable purposes of the Bodosakis Foundation, to which the property belongs.

In its 51 years of activity, the Bodosaki Foundation has granted more than 2,600 scholarships and made significant donations to promote education, improve health, protect the environment and strengthen Civil Society. His emblematic donations include the Bodosakeio Ptolemaida Hospital, the donation of the building where the General Archives of the State are housed as well as the construction of the Bodosakeio Primary School of the College of Athens, while in 2022 alone more than 423,000 of our fellow citizens benefited from his donations and programs .

The exemplary symmetrical corner Bodosaki Mansion on 20 Amalia Avenue and 5 Souri Avenue is a historic building in Athens. It bears the signature of Andreas Ploumistos, a founding member of the Hellenic Architectural Society, its construction began in 1949 and was completed in 1958, while in the period 2005-2006 it was radically renovated. It consists of a ground floor, 6 floors and 2 basements, having a total area of ​​13,460 sq.m. The building has an unobstructed view of the National Garden, but also of the important landmarks of the city center: Lycabettus, the Parliament, the Kallimarmaro, the Pillars of Olympian Zeus, and the Acropolis.
